Ibstock Place School Refectory by Maccreanor Lavington Architects

We love how the architects have chosen the use of Glulam to adorn the ceilings within the Refectory, enhancing the atmosphere in the space and giving it a sense of grandeur and importance for the students. Panels of oak are framed by the glue-laminated lattice structure of the vaulted ceilings, with the intention of not just beauty but acoustic absorption also.
